moulded long trunk door with choice curled mahogany
veneers, flanked by canted corners with brass reeded
inlay.
The moulded edge panel to the base with London style double plinth.
The convex circular white enamelled dial signed Handley & Moore London 2551 to the centre.
The high quality movement of eight day duration, the shaped plates united by five knopped pillars, anchor escapement and strikes the hours on a single bell. Stamped to the frontplate Handley and Moore, numbered 2551.
