and silvered dial signed Boyer Glover, London to the arch,
flanked by dolphin spandrels.
The silvered brass Roman chapter ring with outer minute
track and Arabic five minute markings.
Silvered subsidiary seconds dial and silvered ringed
calendar aperture above VI.
The finely matted dial centre with ornate urn design cast
brass spandrels to the corners.
The fully restored high quality movement is of eight day
duration, with the movement plates united by five knopped
pillars, anchor escapement and rack striking striking the
hours on a single bell.
The movement is fully restored by our horologist who
works exclusively for us.
Our horologist is a Fellow of the British Horological
Institute (FBHI), having 35 years of full time
professional engagement in the repair & restoration of
clocks, watches, music boxes & barometers. He was the
recipient of the 1977 Worshipful Company of Clockmakers
Bronze Medal.
