A fine quality burr walnut bracket clock by Lenzkirch of
Germany, with a quarter chiming movement.
The high quality case veneered in beautifully figured
burr walnut, with ormolu gilt brass mounts.
The arched brass dial with gilded brass spandrels, with a
circular silvered chapter ring and subsidiary zone for the
rise and fall mechanism, finely matted dial centre.
The fully restored high quality spring driven movement,
ting tang striking the quarter hours on two blued steel
gongs and the hour on a single gong. Stamped to the
backplate Lenzkirch - 1 Million 72323.

Lenzkirch made in their high quality range.
Lenzkirch were regarded as the best clockmakers in
Germany during the late 19th and early 20th century,
producing some wonderful quality clocks.
This example is in fine condition with the movement
fully restored by our FBHI and Worshipful Clockmakers
