Overview

A very good Victorian burr walnut bracket clock by Lenzkirch.

Case

The high quality case veneered in beautifully figured burr walnut, with beautiful ormolu gilt brass mounts.

Dial

The arched brass dial with gilded brass spandrels, with a circular silvered chapter ring and subsidiary zone for the rise and fall mechanism.

Movement

A good quality spring driven movement ting tang striking the quarter hours on two blued steel gongs and the hour on a single gong. Stamped to the backplate Lenzkirch Germany 1161151.

Hands

Beautiful blued steel hands.
