A beautiful quality English double fusee mantel clock by F Baetens 23 Gerrard Street London.   

Case

The finest quality cast bronze and ormolu case depicting Dianna the Huntress, with original gilding. Deatiled gilded panel beneath the dial depicting a hunting scene, flanked by applied mounts of brace of birds with foliate scoll decoration to the ends. The finely patinated shaped bronze base surmounted on six turned ormolu toupie feet.

Dial

The 4" enamelled dial with Roman numeral chapter ring.

Movement

The high quality 8 day duration chain driven double fusee movement striking the hours on a single bell. Signed to the inner plate for F Baetens 23 Gerrard Street, London , heavy quality pendulum.
